Zach Howard is one of my best friends in comics and he's got strong ties with IDW. This stuff was for a Spike series, an offshoot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I enjoyed drawing them even though I had no idea what Buffy was about. Zach's and my goal was to get through the gig without learning anything about the franchise. Luckily our colorist Charlie Kirchoff was a fan and helped us out with questions.
